Answer: The document screening process will take approximately 3 working days. Once the documents have been verified, the visa application will be processed for approval within 10 working days.

As for non-Chinese applicants, please submit your application at the Royal Thai Embassy or the Royal Thai Consulate-General that has jurisdiction over the location where your Chinese Residence Permit was issued.

6. Is it necessary to purchase a flight ticket prior to applying for a visa?

Answer: For Non-immigrant visa applicants, purchasing a flight ticket in advance is not required. However, tourist visa applicants are required to submit a round-trip flight ticket in their application. Please note that applicants must apply for an appropriate visa according to their intended purpose of their stay.

10. What are the common reasons that cause documents to be considered unreliable?

Answer: Documents that do not correspond to the purpose of the visa application, documents in which the texts are unclear, or documents that indicate incorrect information about the applicant. Additionally, if you submit any falsified documents, your application will be rejected, and you may be denied entry into Thailand in the future.

11. If an applicant is unable to use a computer to apply for a visa, can they apply for a visa at the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Chengdu?

Answer: No, currently, all types of visa applications are processed online through the e-Visa system. All applicants must apply by themselves and upload all required documents through the system.
