NonImmigrant B Visa

 

***For Chinese applicants who intend to stay in Thailand longer than 90 days, the Consulate is required to submit your application to the relevant agencies in Thailand to get an approval from them first. Since we cannot tell how long the relevant agencies need to review the application, please submit your application to us approximately 4 weeks in advance***

 

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

 

1. Passport or travel documents with validity of not less than 6 months  

2. A photocopy of passport or travel document

3. Four visa application forms completely filled out in English

4. Four recent photographs (not more than 6 months) of the applicant with white background (2 inches)

5. Fully‐paid, confirmed roundtrip air ticket and its photocopy (containing E‐ticket number)

6. Documents from the inviter in Thailand (Seal and signature must be fresh. Print, scan or copy is not allowed)

6.1 The original letter of invitation (in English or Thai) from company/business partners in Thailand. The letter has to specify the applicant’s name, position, contact details, purpose and duration of the purposed stay, with the official seal, address and contact number of the company/organization in Thailand. It should be the original printing letter; any handwritten invitation letter is not acceptable.

a) The letter should be signed by the person whose name is listed on the board list

b) If the letter is signed by a foreigner; a photocopy of his/her valid working permit is also required

6.2 A copy of official documents regarding the inviter in Thailand issued by Thai authorities including:   

‐ List of shareholders

‐ Business registration and business license  

‐ Company profile  

‐ Balance sheet and statement taxes which must be affixed with official seal at every single page (P.P 30 and P.N.D 50 or ภ.พ.20 / ภ.ง.ด.50)  

All documents from inviter must be affixed with the seal of the company and signed by the authorized director or shareholder whose name is listed on the official document on every single page, plus a photocopy of his/her identification card affixed with the seal of the company and signed by him/her.

 

7. Guarantee letter from the Chinese side (Seal and signature must be fresh. Print, scan or copy is not allowed)

7.1 For employed applicants: require the original guarantee letter in English from the applicant’s company or employer in China indicating the applicant’s position, purpose of travel to Thailand, duration of stay with particular dates of departure and return, and guaranteeing that the applicant will return to China on schedule. It should contain address and contact number of the company.  

7.1.1 A photocopy of the business license of the applicant’s company.  

7.1.2 A photocopy of legal representative’s identification document with the official seal and his/her signature.

All documents must be affixed with company’s seal and signed by legal representative.

7.2 For unemployed applicants: require a guarantee letter issued by the Sub‐District Office (街 道办事处) or the local police station, contains the applicant’s name, position, address, contact information and purpose of travel to Thailand.

8. A photocopy of the applicant’s Thai work permits (in case the applicant previously worked in Thailand)

 

The applicants who has renewed passport within one year should bring the old passport when submitting the application

 

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

- All payments of visa processing fees are non-refundable.

- The issuance of all types of visa is solely at the discretion of the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Chengdu

- Consular officers reserve the rights to request any additional documents or ask for an interview with the applicants

- The applicants should submit the application form and relevant documents in person

- Only applicants with residence in Sichuan and Chongqing are eligible to apply for this type of visa
