เมื่อวันที่ 19 พฤษภาคม 2569 คณะรัฐมนตรีได้มีมติเห็นชอบเรื่องการทบทวนมาตรการยกเว้นการตรวจลงตราและการให้สิทธิการตรวจลงตราต่าง ๆ ของไทย ตามข้อเสนอของกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ซึ่งสรุปได้ ดังนี้
(1) ให้ 1 ประเทศ/ดินแดน ได้รับ 1 สิทธิการยกเว้นการตรวจลงตรา
(2) ยกเลิก ผ.60 ทั้งหมด 93 ประเทศ/ดินแดน
(3) ทบทวน ผ.30 เพื่อการท่องเที่ยว (จาก 57 ประเทศ/ดินแดน) ลดลงเป็น 54 ประเทศ/ดินแดน
(4) จัดทำ ผ.15 เพื่อการท่องเที่ยว จำนวน 3 ประเทศ/ดินแดน และ
(5) ทบทวน VoA (จาก 31 ประเทศ/ดินแดน) ลดลงเป็น 4 ประเทศ/ดินแดน
ทั้งนี้ รายละเอียดจะเป็นไปตามประกาศกระทรวงมหาดไทย จำนวน 3 ฉบับ ซึ่งจะมีผลใช้บังคับเมื่อพ้นกำหนด 15 วัน นับแต่วันประกาศในราชกิจจานุเบกษาเป็นต้นไป
อนึ่ง ชาวต่างชาติที่เดินทางเข้าไทยด้วยสิทธิยกเว้นการตรวจลงตราเดิม หรือประสงค์จะเดินทางมาประเทศไทยก่อนที่มาตรการใหม่จะมีผลใช้บังคับ จะยังได้รับสิทธิอยู่ในประเทศไทยได้จนกว่าระยะเวลาพำนักตามสิทธิเดิมจะสิ้นสุด และหลังจากมาตรการการตรวจลงตราใหม่มีผลใช้บังคับ ชาวต่างชาติจะเดินทางเข้าไทยได้ด้วย (1) สิทธิใหม่ (2) ความตกลงทวิภาคี หรือ (3) ขอรับการตรวจลงตราในระบบ e-Visa ตามวัตถุประสงค์การเดินทาง

On 19 May 2026, the Cabinet approved the revision of Thailand’s visa exemption and VoA schemes. These revised measures include
(1) granting only one visa exemption scheme per country/territory;
(2) revoking the 60-day visa exemption scheme for all 93 countries/territories;
(3) revising the 30-day visa exemption scheme for tourism purpose and reducing the list of eligible countries/territories (from 57) to 54 countries/territories;
(4) introducing the new 15-day visa exemption scheme for tourism purpose for 3 countries/territories; and
(5) revising VoA and reducing the list of eligible countries/territories (from 31) to 4 countries/territories.
Details and criteria can be found in relevant Ministry of Interior announcements, which will be published in the Royal Gazette and will take effect 15 days after publication.
Foreigners who are already in Thailand under the current visa exemption schemes and those plan to travel to Thailand prior to the effective date of this revision may stay until the expiry of their permitted period of stay. Thereafter, they may enter Thailand under (1) the new visa schemes; (2) bilateral visa exemption agreements; or (3) an appropriate visa which can be conveniently applied through Thailand’s e-Visa system.

2026年5月19日，泰国内阁批准了对免签和落地签（VoA）政策的修订。修订后的措施包括：

（1）每个国家/地区仅适用一种签证政策；

（2）取消对所有93个国家/地区的60天免签政策；

（3）30天免签政策，从原本57个国家/地区缩减至54个；

（4）新增针对3个国家/地区的15天免签政策；

（5）修订落地签（VoA）政策，从原本31个国家/地区缩减至4个。

具体细则和标准可参见内政部的相关公告，该公告将在《皇家公报》上发布，并于发布15天后生效。

根据现行免签政策已入境泰国的外国人，以及在该修订生效前计划前往泰国的外国人，可在其现有允许停留期限内继续停留。新政策生效后，外国人可通过以下方式进入泰国：（1）新的签证政策；（2）双边免签协议；或（3）通过泰国电子签证系统申请的相应签证。
