Business or Employment Visa (Non - Immigrant B/IB)

1. If I want to conduct business in Thailand for no more than 60 days, can I do so without applying for a Non-B/IB visa?

Answer: If you are conducting short-term business, you may enter without applying for a Non-B/IB visa. However, if you intend to work in any of the 16 specified urgent or ad-hoc jobs that foreigners must complete within 15 days after their arrival in Thailand, as regulated by the Department of Employment, Ministry of Labour, you are required to follow the procedures set by the Department of Employment upon arrival in Thailand. 1. 如果计划在泰国进行不超过60天的商务活动，是否无需申请非移民B类/IB类签证？

回答：若进行短期商务活动，可免申请非移民B类/IB类签证入境。但若涉及泰国劳工部就业司规定的16类外籍人员须在入境15天内完成的紧急或临时性工作（详见附件2），则需按该部门要求抵泰后办理相关手续。具体规定请参阅泰国就业司官方网站（www.doe.go.th）。

2. If I have already entered Thailand with a visa issued by the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Chengdu, can I request the Consulate-General to change my type of visa?

Answer: No, please submit your request to the Thai Immigration Bureau in Thailand.

2. 如果已持泰国驻成都总领事馆签发的签证入境泰国，是否可请求变更签证类型？

回答：不可以。请您向泰国移民局提交签证类型变更申请。
